I hope the whole thing falls apart. That said, often they create chaos to implement their preferred solution. Someone commented in the piece they wanted a NATIONAL system. This cluster-fuck could be leveraged for that outcome. I'll remain cautiously optimistic in the meantime.
It can play out in any way, and the single biggest factor could be how vocal we are in rejecting it (and that's regardless of what any of us thinks about the medical product). I have a feeling that our aspiring overlords are as incompetent as they are ambitious.
