Definitely not a new technique, definitely not original and not unique to any particular ideology, but appalling none the less. We should know better than to choose propaganda over family.

Come on... The Bolsheviks did more than divide people. They united small, rural and weak nations and transformed them into an industrial power capable of defeating Nazism. This is no small thing, nor does it deserve to be despised.

I am okay with people having own opinions about history so we can disagree but I would like to point out that this is my home country, my history, and what they did was usurp the power for themselves, putting people against each other.
