A bold thought. The world would be kinder if: People were allowed to hold any sincere opinion and discuss it freely with others, AND think tanks, PR firms, marketing agencies, corporate brands, politicians, and other salesmen were not taken seriously as beacons of morality.
This centuries-old business of blending profits & power with morality should be transparent by now. It doesn't come from a pure place, and repeating a slogan a million times doesn't make anything true. Wisdom smells differently from corporate bullying.
And yes, I am annoyed. I never expected to live though a revival of Soviet style moralizing, a format that was laughed out of the room - for good reasons - when I was a kid. We're supposed to form opinions and make choices based on own unique experience, otherwise we're zombies!
