As a result of being bullied by the so called ''Center for Countering Digital Hate,' @GreenMedInfo was just booted off Twitter for having the integrity and the balls to fight corruption. SHAME. SHAME. SHAME.

Seeing that a lot on US Twitter, this obsession with identities and labels. Europeans - well at the least the ones I know - are far less obsessed with this. I find it perplexing reading US Twitter, it's like a completely different universe for me.
Having grown up in Europe, I find the perpetual act of labeling and role assignment rather painful, too. But I have been here for a long time, I have gotten used to it. Every now and then, I pinch myself and ask, why is it this way?!!

It is wholly unnecessary. We should try and do away with labels of all kinds and just see each other as human beings. Especially at this critical point in history, the spiritual battle for humanity.
