The other day, a question showed up in my head. Since breathing in a mask results in inhaling a lot of own exhaust (which was measured & proven beyond doubt to the sound of crickets in the media), does partial recycling of one's CO2 on a massive scale reduce atmospheric carbon?
It's clear that we are moving toward smart wearables, and it's clear that air is the new commercial frontier but I am curious if the peasants take up less air space when in a mask. I don't have an answer about the impact, just thinking out loud.
