Pretty much nails it, if only I had read that 10 years ago would have saved me hundreds of hours of my own research.
I think it goes deeper than isms. Today's globalism is near identical to traditional colonial pursuits, the only difference is the target demographic (everybody) and the advancement of tech.

These big tech companies have already proven beyond any doubt that they serve to serve us up, not serve us in any way. I won't be investing personally in any tech and seek to use it less and less. Next phone will be a flip phone.
