Last March, my senses were screaming that something was very off but I was terrified of saying it. And then I thought, what if this is how people in early Nazi Germany felt? That something's off but surely there's someone smarter of braver to sort it out? And everyone pretended.
And so I decided, begrudgingly, that maybe I should make a step forward and say things, since the calling of an artist comes with responsibility. And all of a sudden, I discovered a sea of aliveness, the very thing that robots are afraid of. Sincerity is so gratifying.
