Until 2020, I didn't realize just how much I cared about science. And by science I mean the method of analyzing reality based on facts, not the pseudo-scientific ideology weaponized by billionaires to put everybody against each other while they are attending to their bottom line.
Actually no, I cared about it. I grew up around doctors and medical research, studied genetics at 11 (hard to believe), and have always been inspired by pioneers and outliers. Which is to say, what's happening now in terms of selling fictional concepts as #science is maddening.
