The attack on traditional evidence-based science, marketed to the stressed out good people as "listening to scientists," must be of the worst brainf***ks of the past couple of centuries. I stay appalled. It is simply indecent.

What I learned from being in an abusive relationship years ago: When something feels weird and crazy, it actually is. The cost of accepting it is high.
Explaining away the weirdness as somehow acceptable or reasonable is an act of self-betrayal.
