She’s been through a “Lessig education” ($$$) which seems to remove all common sense, all understand, and leaves one with narrow & newly acquired prejudices. So all that’s left is babble & weird feelings. When expressed, they look like this - confusion and fear.

I think the key phrase is "I am not a programmer but..." There a bit of a trend, where, say, "amateur musicians" were perhaps a little jealous of the "professional" ones and therefore, celebrated a lack of payment for making music. Who is a professional musician NOW? See? See?
