Perhaps if I didn't live through an identical cultural phenomenon (sans glitter) as a kid, I would buy into establishment talking points today but I simply can't. I can't. I cannot unlearn what I have learned. The propaganda is obvious.
And since I have already once experienced a "majority" that was in a trance and then snapped out of it, gradually, then suddenly, when the time was right, I know it's going to happen again. Of course, social media ruins things with peer pressure but soul will prevail.
