A few decades from now, it will be obvious that 2020 was a year when a small number of very broken and toxic human beings utilized the arrogance of the upper managerial class and the intellectual stupor of the educated class to attempt a reinvention of what it means to be human.
The psychopathic impetus of top predators does not bother me. They play a role. The soul-dead drive of the upper managerial class doesn't bother me, either. Robots will be robots. But the rest of us should really wake up because reality doesn't care about our fairy tales.
In particular, the language has been turned upside down.
"Public good" means "whatever works for the psychopaths but translated to the language of the peasants and spun just right."
"Green" means "AI-driven and satellite-controlled."
