I love my neighborhood and its resilient people. Just enjoyed a normal concert in the park, kids and adults dancing and being human. That's what life is! A great antidote to the abuse we're subjected to so that psychopaths get rich while we sit under glass like aquarium fish.
Love me or hate me but what we are subjected to is abuse at its purest, and those who have internalized it are victims. I am saying it as someone who has been on the receiving end of abuse--luckily early enough in life to have the time to recover--and I understand the brainwork.
