Morning philosophy thread warning. In my own life (and I've been through a ton of strange things... don't know why!!), I've discovered that respecting other people's free will is a fundamental, absolutely necessary requirement for being "on the right side of history." 1/

Politicians and high end corporate marketers know that, and they use our hunger for respect and our emotional vulnerabilities to distract us from any semblance of a clear vision or inner strength. They channel our instincts to where we feel a lot and solve nothing. /5

I strongly disagree with banning speech or deplatforming "misinformation" (really, anything that contradicts the talking points of an incredibly impure and rotten establishment). It is not right. It is the opposite of being on the right side of history. Mark my word. 6/

There is no moral goodness attached to silencing another person's thinking. I am less interested in the logistical aspects of it as I am in existential ones. When a "good guy" acts like a bully, he no longer is a "good guy"! It's Yin and Yang, an ever changing order.

It is frightening when the "good guys" get together to bully their way through, feeling endangered and rationalizing fear-based behavior, even though the world is what it has always been. Complex, nuanced, and full of opportunities for joy. We should know better. 8/
