There are maybe like 10-15 people whom I read regularly and whom I consider intellectually honest and inspiring. In each case, I strongly agree with some of the things they say, strongly disagree with other, and sometimes stay agnostic. Highly recommend this approach.
I also highly recommend investigating a wide range of sources on any topic of interest. Sometimes people you don't support as "brands" suggest very sensible things. The toxicity of a super polarized media environment only benefits tech companies and dishonest people, nobody else.
