I am serious. Everybody should watch "Heart of a Dog," the film made after a censored 1924 Soviet play. It is witty and funny and tragic, but also deeply applicable to 2020, and watching it could prevent a lot of bruises.
I have thought about it a lot, I think the problem is truly civilizational rather than current. (The only things that're different today are scale and speed, it is easy to use the internet to create an illusion of ubiquity). 1/
