Language has been weaponized before so many times in history, including in my birth homeland. I am stunned by linguistic and psychological similarities between the people who are just coming into adulthood right now and the generation of my grandparents in the USSR.
Sadly, the technique of weakening target communities by creating a generation gap has been used by every non-lazy conquest-minded entity on Earth, including European colonizers, industrialists in need of factory labor, new Soviet authorities who HAD to break family ties, etc.

Today's aggressively binary thinking about almost every topic can be partially blamed on the two decades of relying on google for info while simultaneously having to please the machine when you write (writing for SEO, memes, etc). It rewires the brain.
