Human beings at the top who write and then enforce very dysfunctional rules for the rest of us—across political parties and business sectors—are without any doubt emotionally crippled.

Here's my line of thinking. Cruel business models, environmental destruction, horrible inequality, all those bad things are rooted in a very simple reality — lack of respect for life and dignity on a sensory level. Systems are generated by sensory abilities.

I have all the compassion in the world for them as fellow human beings but we have no obligation to accept the trauma they are trying to pass on down the food chain. We all have a direct relationship with nature. This world is for everybody, not just the biggest bullies.
