This is the psychological type that has been aspiring to conquer nature for a very long time now. Centuries. When Christian missionaries preached upon the heathen, the premise was the same. Also when Soviet city folk preached upon the peasants. Recognize patterns, dammit.

The context has been different every time, the psychological premise prevailed, however. We are driven by emotions, and our brains create a "rational" story about it, not the other way around. And this fear of nature is toxic.

We owe everything to nature and our loving community. Not to our ambitious missionaries whose wet dream is for us to be alone, glued to the screen, confused, proud, perpetually distracted, and disconnected from the power that nature gives us. They are liars. And they are weak.
