Or maybe, not in the minority, but each major eco chambers' driving forces with the deepest pockets and the most bullying power are yelling so loudly that everybody who hears their yelling loses their mind to stress.

What I am seeing based on personal experience, think what you want of it, is that the collective fear reaction is a reaction of an abused person who thinks that the abuser is their only friend, and as painful as it is, abuse is a sign of love.

There's chaos, the directions often contradict the official science and the official data not to mention the emerging science, the corruption is total and all-pervasive... and yet, on the ground level, there's a moral imperative. I recognize this from the decaying Soviet Union.

And you know what, I am mad. I am not afraid of the plague. But elders in nursing homes who are at the mercy of the system, isolated from their families and somewhat helpless? Putting them at risk while playing hero and making deals with tech billionaires is not cool.
