The underlying problem that aches my heart is that we catch one murderous act of corporate greed—which really is human greed as corporations are just formal shields separating power addicts from responsibility—but a thousand other ones are allowed to be, and even praised.
As one human being, I feel sad about the power of corporate $$$ over public opinion and our lives. Human nature is such that we typically only pay attention to issues that impact us personally. Until then, it's all a water cooler conversation.

The worst part: Once the society starts realizing that corporate choices in question present an existential threat, clever corporate aristocrats come up with sweetly branded lucrative "solutions" that are even more murderous that the original, already murderous, problem.

A fine example of a murderous "solution" is fixing agriculture by installing sensors everywhere. Big Tech, I am looking at you. Branding is "green efficiency" but the impact on the environment is the opposite of green. Economic trickery aside, pollution could be devastating.

I pray that we start feeling the world the way we did before we started using symbols and memes to block our inner understanding of life. I could be right or wrong, but I am convinced that without restoring our sensory independence from the machine, we are screwed.
