The film inspired me to pick up the book on the rise of the Du Pont dynasty that I've never finished.

It is tragically obvious that American militarism (from conquests back in the day to today's yay-war headlines) is driven strictly by the need of a few peeps to do the impossible, i.e. expand the physics-defying economy infinitely, and make money off artificially created demands.
