Depending on the ideological camp and preferred hashtags, some aspire to manhandle nature by extracting fossil fuel, and some want to do it by installing radiation-emitting smart sensors and devices everywhere. Different tech, same ethos. "Because I can."

So I believe that arguing about the flavor of "bad" is stupid. What we should look at is the underlying principle. "Just because I can, should I"? "Is money the only thing that matters in life? Why? And why do I think that?"

And honestly, nobody understand how to have a good relationship with nature better than traditional indigenous people. Not the democrats, not the republicans, and not the marxists. So why not ask the experts instead of reinventing the wheel? Ask, and then listen?
