It is very strange and telling that allegedly "civilized" people — with very different political convictions and with very different slogans coming out of their mouths — insist none the less on their right to manhandle and "tame" nature.
So I believe that arguing about the flavor of "bad" is stupid. What we should look at is the underlying principle. "Just because I can, should I"? "Is money the only thing that matters in life? Why? And why do I think that?"

And honestly, nobody understand how to have a good relationship with nature better than traditional indigenous people. Not the democrats, not the republicans, and not the marxists. So why not ask the experts instead of reinventing the wheel? Ask, and then listen?
