At the foundation of our society is shameless bullying combined with salesmanship. Bullying, blended with the ability to impose one's worldview upon others, is celebrated and envied. Unsuccessful bullies are condemned—mostly in theory—but successful ones are loved.

Bullying is the format that earns people a high social status. It is all very wrong — but in order to fix it, the foundation needs to be addressed — and the foundation is emotional. The entire emotional structure of the society is very broken.

So, why, let me ask, do we have to choose between the right to be ignorant entitled assholes, and the right to tell others what to say and what not to say (opinions- and language-wise)? Why do we have to choose between the plague and the cholera?

If I were to say it in goody two-shoes language, I would say that without restoring an honest relationship with the world and healing our broken hearts—broken because our current society runs on bullshit and disrespect—screw the goody two-shoes language... we can't fix freedom.

And arguing about the best algorithm is masturbatory. There is no best algorithm. We either come to terms with how to we interact with the world at large, or we don't. And if we don't, our civilization will continue on its logical path until we do.
