I am less concerned about squirrel alerts ... but people do need personal space to do things in solitude, with no one watching. One cannot be sane without it. It will not end well. Obviousness of this is ignored for the sake of "trends" invented to justify profits.

Very scary trend. With Ring's 30 feet of range, a kid biking down the street (or squirrel) would alert all the neighbors- leading to unintentional spying. What should be thought of as police state apparatus gets to fly as "Hip Tech" in the US
