It's the 21st century playbook: admit nothing, insist you did no wrong, call out counterarguments as spawned from ulterior motives, and repeat this tactic without pause, in the hope your own narrative will divert from facts, so your own voice is the loudest.
The really disgusting part? It works like a charm half of the times (or maybe even more often). The good part? Until it doesn't.
