In our history books, we have villains and saints. Saints on "our" side (depending on who is talking), and villains on "their" side. While in real life, it's just a bunch of really sick human beings with lofty job descriptions sacrificing whomever they want—while others watch.

And if we look at today's sick-in-the-head leaders simply as fellow human beings, without the TV glitter and adoration or hate, life becomes much easier to understand and deal with.

The civilization we are in today is ill. For a long time, we've had very troubled human beings at the wheel because the system has been favoring hungry psychos, glitter or not. Their murderous decisions toward us are explained by the fact that they are NOT okay in the head.
