Personally, I wouldn't complain if any individual carrying inside a desire to express an important idea via visual art had to actually draw or otherwise create the damn visual from scratch. I mean, it's called "an artist" for a reason.
Not that it is actually happening in the context of Article 13 but I just can't find anything wrong with the idea of prioritizing original, time-consuming expression. Satire is great, citing is necessary, and creative interpretation is lovely. But not the cynical, lazy theft.
