On a side note, my own politics is based mainly on human decency. There are maybe three candidates I like, give or take, but I don't think anyone will save us from ourselves. Okay, a boring thread on politics.

But I think that the overall emotional fabric of the society—and the medieval cynicism and corruption upstairs—are much bigger factors than virtues or sins of individual candidates. The question is who can pass through the gate, and what happens to their mind as they do.

As far as I am concerned, it is about the power of the people. Not the power to bully somebody together (doesn't matter whom and why) but the power to heal, love, and be individually and collectively free. Which is not something any candidate can grant, as much as I preferences.
