I wonder what the world would look like if people were rewarded not based on their ability to have the impressive last word in a verbal battle — but based on the ability to actually solve problems, create peace, and make the world a happier place? Not a rhetorical question...
Oh and it's Nick Bostrom, so never mind my initial questions, the cited abstract was not supposed to make any sense. Didn't Bostrom "invent" the so called Vulnerable World Hypothesis?
