And just to be clear, I really could care less about politics. The genre of politics as we have it is designed for intrigue, sensationalism, and abuse of power. Red, blue or purple. But groupthink and lack of compassion are killing me.

And no, the end never justifies the means if the means = betrayal of humanity and gloating over somebody's pain. One human being matters, especially if she is made such an example of strictly to give the public a target to release their frustration onto. It is dishonest.

And I am sure everybody and their dog tried to use her, but in the end, she is still being scapegoated and thrown under a bus. Which is disgusting. Meanwhile, say, Google and Monsanto lobby and bully all day causing actual harm to the American people, is anyone in jail?
