No, really. I am at a loss for words. The "vulnerable world hypothesis" can be easily replaced with "finally figuring out that actions have consequences which is why proposing destructive things on a massive scale is treacherous." What is in his head, ether? Or just the $$?
Also, I take issue with "vulnerable world" linguistically b/c I use the word "vulnerable" to describe an existential condition that needs to be embraced in order to be happy. It's a part of being human!
