For example, when I bring up suffering, I don't imply weakness or helplessness. At the same time, when I strongly disagree with somebody or even feel contempt for a particular action, I don't feel hatred, and don't reject the whole person.

Trying to practice it in an environment where total rejection on the identity level is kind of the new conversational norm, is NOT easy. Okay, it is still easy because this is how my mind works.... but as a type of social behavior, it's a challenge.
