I am not theorizing. I've embraced adventure all the way in my own life. :-) However, some of the things I've personally done were just plain asinine, including some of my choices while traveling solo. I got myself into situations that were dangerous for no reason!
If I were to talk back to my younger self, I would say, "Please do what you do, but don't be such a f*cking idiot and PLEASE try not to get yourself killed." I've gotten into so many dangerous situations out of naivete that it's not even funny. So I was nodding to the article!
