And yes, it is entirely horrible that our celebrities got this scare. Celebrities are human beings, and they deserve physical safety just like all of us do. That is obvious and it's a shame that is needs an extra mention.

I guess, my international experience compels me to resist oversimplifying complex issues. Kindness is universally human. Fear is universally human. Our civilization is falling apart a little, and yet we are busy getting finger pointing cred. Like it or not, we are in it together.
