I wish more people felt for those on the receiving end of cruelty, regardless of the news cycle. Reacting to news cycle is very understandable... but as somebody who grew up outside of this mega loud and sensationalized culture, I am tripping over total coordination of feeling.
Also, the blood memory of 1917 is telling me that overhauling systems (especially with aggression) doesn't solve core issues. Yeah, one group of ambitious rulers gets replaced with another, but if the hearts are still hungry and slogans live where love should, same crap ensues.
