Often, there is a drastic difference between one's public persona and one's actual private opinions. So every time I read heated exchanges, I wonder what everybody would say if the conversation took place in private, outside of the framework of 'treats' and 'electric shocks.'
...which is logical in a culture that is ultra commercial ('you don't sell -> you don't eat'). But also, it is a cultural failure on steroids because underneath the passionate sales processes, we are all human beings born to actually do beautiful, things with people who love us.
I almost feel as if "liking" these tweets is somehow counterproductive-- somehow proving your point?-- but on the other hand I completely agree and wish more people understood these things. "Culture failure on steroids," yes.
