I get the satire, but I don´t like it. Imagine this same satire with any other group, I would hate it too.
This particular piece exists because the reverse actually DID just happen. A middle-aged white woman got paid a million bucks for a book set in Mexico, based it on cursory research, got many things wrong, and was then shocked when Latinx readers voiced problems with it.
