I'm assuming it confused towns in Wisconsin, which can be the same name in multiple counties, though cities and villages CANNOT be dually named in WI. The one southwest of MKE is a village.

Bringing this back on brand: Springfield, Qld has a railway station. The two Springfields in NSW and the two in Victoria have never had railways. The Springfield in SA was once on an electric tram line. And there USED to be a Springfield in Tasmania that was also on a tram line.
