The CA High Speed Rail has been in the works for over 10 yrs and no segment has been completed due to the long permitting process, eminent domain issues and legal challenges. Republicans in the Central Valley went crazy over the land rights issues.

I really think it's being overlooked at this early stage by the media and Trump's supporters in congress. Whatever your view is on Mexicans and caravans, this wall is going to ruin lives on way or another

@GOP talking point. They can’t blame Obama or Hillary for their ineptitude and need something to rile the base. The irony is the base are the ones who will be most hurt.
