Someone sent me an email from “youtube” about my newest video saying it got a copyright claim and I thought it seemed kinda weird but it looked EXTREMELY real and asked me to log in so I did and accidentally gave them my password. Luckily they didn’t hack me and I changed it

YouTube would never ask you to give your password or any personal information. Also, we'd recommend you to report the email using these steps: https://goo.gl/zk4rN9 . Hope this helps!

We got a similar thing recently that said "Attention Needed" and asked to log in. Obviously YouTube wouldn't ask for personal info, but it's very common to get logged out and have to log in. I noticed the link was no longer on YouTube so I left, but the login page was convincing.

I actually screenshotted the email with my phone but I didn't screenshot the login page at the time. Unfortunately clicking the link goes to an error page now. It was probably removed because of the fact that I logged in using the the password "PleaseStopTryingToPhishMe"
