You could just tell people that you like a post, with words. People used to have to do that, it wasn't terrible

If only there was such a thing! I know! Perhaps Twitter will install a button that automatically fills in a reply such as "I like this, but have absolutely nothing to contribute other than my admiration." I'm going to ask

No, pls dont If you absolutely must do it for the sake of "improving the quality of debate" you can maybe remove likes for replies *only* or, much better, make the likes on replies less visible If you totally remove it then people's notifications will be filled! with "I agree"
