While we don't have a specific time frame, the automated system scans the videos even before they're published. If the video is tagged a "Not suitable for users" you can appeal the decision. You can publish the video once you receive an email with the decision.
@teamyoutube If you upload a video and keep it unlisted, it can properly run through all the checks to assure monetization before making it public, correct? How long do you need to keep it unlisted to be sure it's been fully approved for monetization?
