It started an entire movement that’s alive to this day what do you mean...Sullying the message with crime and further violence is the issue.

It’s alive and still getting criticized and belittled to this day. Though, I don’t agree with rioting 100 percent (just thinking of the small businesses) it’s beginning to feel like there just aren’t any other options that get the point across.

That’s because it was overtaken by radicals. Who the hell wants to be associated with that? When you create more chaos than the original act of protest, you don’t look like the good guys. You just provide more reasons to keep you in chains.

I've heard the "we have no other choice in order to make our voice heard" argument a lot, which makes me wonder: If this is truly about pro-black social change and not looting, and violence is necessary... why not go after police stations and politicians? The Mayor's home, maybe?
