Saw a video of a first hand account, guy showed that it was mostly (if not all) corporate businesses that were targeted and the small businesses were left alone. Still doesn't excuse the looting, but it seems less random than one might assume.
Yeah also saw entire buildings burnt to the ground. Don’t see the point. Bad thing is still bad

Not gonna disagree with that one, seems like an impossible point to argue.

What I will say is I believe the protests started peaceful (afaik) and when those were broken up with tear gas and rubber bullets, the riots began. It may still be a 2-wrongs situation, but it also seems like a natural progression. Maybe not justified, but not unexpected.
