You can agree with what he’s saying and still manage to make a solid argument. The way he responded to this was lacking in reasoning and fell more on subjectivity. I’m more disappointed that he relied on false equivalence and ad hominem than the situation itself.
I feel like it’s a hard situation to be in, he honestly should’ve just let it blow over or joked about it. I think responding directly to angry fans is never really a good idea, especially with how idiolized he was. This is kinda the problem when ur audience sees you as a saint.
