Last thing I’ll say about Genesis. If you’re arguing on behalf of Oakland, it’s prob not a good idea to tell some people with genuine concerns who actually got robbed, that they’re just pussies and racists. Being at risk of frequent crime is a very valid worry.

It’s funny all the people saying “jUsT dOnT sHoW Ur VaLubLes” But car windows get broken “just cause” in Oakland or parking on the wrong block. I’ve lived in bad parts of Bronx and Brooklyn and it doesn’t really compare lol

People getting robbed is an issue, nobody is arguing that. However you have to think about the common sense of some of people; to leave valuables in plain sight in a city known to have break ins. Sucks that it happened, but there needs to be better judgment in the future.

The point being made is that not everybody had “valuables” in plain sight or even in their car. People just broke in to check anyways.

I get it but it's a little silly to say "just move it" considering how expensive Cali is just moving it is gonna shoot up the prices and everything etc. And doing a little research car break ins in Oakland and San Fran are a big thing.

Not blaming people who got their stuff stolen but when I'm in an area thats seems shady the best thing isn't to leave all my expensive shit in a car. I've stayed and lived in many places that are like that so a little accountability could take place. Still not blaming them but

I don’t know the full story but from what I pieced together at genesis someone or multiple peoples cars got broken into and people are now asking the tournament to not be ran in the like most crime ridden place in Cali or something along those lines
