I never got this take, the ladies in my family and in my neighborhood refer to themselves and others as females all the time and don’t care if a man does either, might just be a culture thing but I never seen someone have a problem with it outside the internet lmao

It’s an association of the word with common statements that follow the word in certain situations, but overall it’s harmless in both definition and interpretation. Literally means women when applied to people.

Facts. Woulda been easier to just say, “Don’t be mysognistic!” Attacking words is more appealing tho cuz it’s easier to get behind than obvious truths.
