What's pathetic about it? Clearly there's a high demand for it, and it seems like a legitimate service, even when it first started out. People want a thing, it's not pathetic to want it.
Supply and demand is just a process of economics. That doesn’t determine what sub-genres are or aren’t pathetic. Paying to beat is pathetic.

I won't try changing your mind, but is the reasoning for thinking its pathetic is that its just something you can do for free/ just search on Google for?

1.There’s an infinite amount of free content 2. If you’re paying for dumb ass little trinkets in the mail and “interaction” then get a girlfriend. The whole community preys on people that lack genuine human contact or interaction and makes the most based on desperation. Pathetic
